The Silk Hope Ruritans put on some extra pounds tonight thanks to some great food from the Missions Committee. The proceeds from this fundraiser will pay for the fees for 1 1/2 people to go to Carolina Cross Connections this summer.
Denise, Doug, Karen, Jamie, Kyle, Nikki, Catherine M, Lynn, Monica, Robert B, Neal, Thomas, Carrie and Tanya hosted the event. The menu was the church BBQ, Neal’s famous grilled chicken breasts, baked beans, slaw, potato salad, rolls and a mixture of desserts. Carrie’s pie is always the first to be chosen from the dessert table.

And we love the opportunity to feed them, because it helps us with our mission projects.
