Some UMW members met at the Modern Life Cafe in Pittsboro, a wonderful deli with great pizza, just across from the Justice center.
The UMW Purpose says we are to develop a supportive, creative fellowship and that is what we did. We were able to get caught up with Lauren’s plans, now that she has graduated from William Peace U. Monica shared how things are going with her twin grandkids. Teresa talked about her parents. Donna C shared about how things are going with Brayden. Donna H told us the Karen D is coming for an extended visit with her daughter and Delaney. Tanya shared about Josh’s summer job. We all shared our sorrow in the loss of Robin’s sister.
It is so wonderful to be able to share each others burdens and joys.
