Youth returned to tell their stories about ACS (Annual Conference Session for Youth) held at Methodist U in Fayetteville. Cameron and Coley shared that this is their last year as a youth. But they will have an opportunity in a couple of years to go back as staff. Kyle shared how grateful he was to go with the financial support of our church.
Ray shared in his sermon today that one youth attending professed to be an atheist. During the course of the week, this youth met several times with the Worship leader to ask questions about faith and love. By the Communion Friday night, this youth accepted Jesus as savior. What a wonderful testimony to the power of the youth events we have in our conference. Other conferences don’t have these kinds of events and we can be proud that the NC Conference makes a commitment to the spiritual lives of our youth. And Brown’s Chapel can be proud that we provide the financial support for the youth of our church.
