Today in worship we began preparing for our annual revival, which will be held 9/20-23. The theme for our revival is Fearlessly Faithful.
During worship, Ray invited us to write down a challenge that may cause us to be fearful. Today the challenge was related to our health. What about our health may make us fearful. After we wrote the challenge down, we were asked to post them to the cross.
Our scripture today included Ephesians, when we are instructed to put on the whole armor of God. Ray invited Matt to share about the gear that someone in the military puts on to protect themselves. Matt shared that when he is dressed, his protective gear weighs about 25 lbs. But it is necessary to provide the protection needed.
