We had 18 women and girls present for a great meal and some good fun. The spread of food ranges from really healthy to really decadent. And always a variety.
Janice shared about finding some photos as she has worked on the UMW District archives. The photos showed some women from the past who have left us with a great heritage of giving.
Then we moved on to our Dirty Santa game. Laura Ann was the first to go and as others opened presents, we finally got to a brave woman who stole a gift. Lauren took Donna’s jeweled Christmas tree. Then the stealing carried on til the very end. Laura Ann decided to put her first present back in the circle and stole another present. It is always a lot of fun. And the gifts this year were re-gifts.
After that, we took food to the Weavers so that they had some Christmas cheer also as they care for Brian.
