Kevin, our of our church members, has been struggling with liver disease for some time. He has just been approved to be put on the liver transplant list at UNC Hospitals. We are praying for a donor.
Our church is supporting the Condreys in several ways. We are providing a veggie produce box every week. Kevin needs healthy veggies to maintain his health. Also, there are collection jars around for people to donate. This money will go to help them with financial assistance. If you would like to donate, make a check to Brown’s Chapel and in the memo write Condrey. It will be put in to the fund we have started for him
Finally, we wanted a tangible way for Kevin to know we are standing with him. Ray has begun a prayer quilt. We have been asked to outline one of our hands and that area is quilted. Ray is hoping that we can finish the quilt this week so that it can be given to Kevin.
If you have not outlined your hand, please stop by the church and do so. The quilt and the markers are in the Fellowship hall. If you cannot make it to the church, please outline your hand and mail it to Ray. He will see that it gets added.
Be on the lookout for other opportunities to help the Condreys. And don’t forget to pray!!
