Team Weaver arrived at Browns Chapel around 1245p. Motorcycles in all colors and shapes. Most 2 wheels but some 2 wheels in front and 1 in the back or 1 in the front and 2 in the back. And the riders were just as varied. There were 131 bikes.
They enjoyed getting off their bikes and having some cold water.
Their leader placed a wreath on Brian’s grave. In the wreath was an arrangement with a motorcycle and a softball, along with some UNC stickers.
When it was over, the bikers left, waving and giving thumbs up.
Thanks to the mission committee for getting this together. It was visible evidence that our church really cares.
