The kids gathered in the SS Ultimate Treasure where they sang and learned the Bible VersePolly Parrot was our guest this week.
This year the theme was The Ultimate Treasure and had a pirate motif.
Captain Jack Sparrow joined us to share how important it is to follow THE MAP to the Ultimate Treasure.Each child present got a Bible from Jack SparrowThe older kids used their Bibles to hunt for treasure (aka Bible Verses)The treasure clues the older kids looked for.Robin reviewed the treasure verses with the kidsThe older kids were given treasure mapsThe older kids then went on a treasure hunt on the church groundsOne story was on Jonah and the whaleThe Ultimate Treasure that each child was givenOur neighbor dog, Drover, got lots of love from the kids also.The Bible verse for the week was part of the SS Ultimate Treasure shipThe mission project was boxes for Project Agape in Armenia. The kids got to treasure find the items for the boxes.The choir came in for practice and got drafted to help the kids pack the boxes.Our goal was 21 boxes but thanks to very generous donations, we packed 31 boxes for Armenia
