The crochet and knitting group have been meeting for only a short time but they have been so productive. In Worship on 5/28 they dedicated the first 5.
Recipients for the first ones are Jean S., Helen L., Betty G., Francis (Carrie’s friend), Gail S.
Monica shared that the first one completed is being given to Helen. It is extra special because there is a square that was completed by Jean before she passed away.
Gail was given a pink and white shawl because pink is the color of the fight against breast cancer.
During Communion, people were encouraged to pray over the shawls before they were given away.
We were blessed by their talent and commitment.
