The altar is decorated with the cross section of one of the old oak trees that was on church property. When the tree was cut, Lee Norris created this reminder of the tree. He cut a cross in to the wood. Ray says that the wood reminds him of the stone over the tomb.
Each Sunday in Lent, a new purple candle has been added.
