Each year Browns Chapel UMW oversees the Backpack Project where backpacks and school supplies are collected for the kids in Chatham Co Schools that need assistance. Each year we have increased the numbers of backpacks that we were able to donate. This year our goal was 300 backpacks and we met it, with the church’s generosity.
Carrie enlists some assistance from students at Northwood. Here we see some of the students putting the backpacks together.
