Today we welcome Rev. Elaine Lilliston as preacher for our worship service. Elaine is a retired Deacon in the NC Annual Conference. She and her husband live in Fuquay Varina, where Elaine previously served at Fuquay Varina UMC until her retirement. Deacons are ordained to word, service, compassion and justice. Their ministries are often described as being a bridge between the church and the world. Welcome, Elaine! Ray Gooch is preaching the Homecoming Service at his home church, Banks UMC.
