Today was Trinity Sunday and Father’s Day. Ray preached on knowing how to be a father by looking at the model of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We had wonderful music, including a prelude by Oliver, celebrating fathers and families. The choir, including Jamie on guitar, sang about the family of God
The mission team going to Carolina Cross Connection was prayed for and then sent on their way.
The UMW honored Dot W with a Special Mission Recognition pin for her donation of art for the Building Improvement project.
And the altar was a place of beauty with roses honoring the men in our lives. Ray reported that the rose orders between Browns Chapel and Pleasant Hill came to over $1000 which is what it takes at the Methodist Home for Children to care for one child for a year. Thank you for your generosity.
