The Spirited Stitchers group have begun a project of sewing walker and wheelchair bags for residents of Laurels of Chatham, Cambridge Hills and others in the community. Laurels of Chatham does a birthday party each month for residents who have birthdays that month. The Spirited Stitchers are giving these bags as presents.

The Spirited Stitchers started as part of the Wellness initiative for the church. Sewing, crochet, or knitting helps us physically and emotionally.
