Today was Transfiguration Sunday. It was kind of funny that at 930a, when church started, there were a lot of empty pews. But then all of a sudden, the sanctuary was transformed with lots of people coming in. Ray tried to get us centered but it was an energetic Sunday.
Today we were invited to Come to the Mountain and be transformed by His power and love.
Several people went to a mission trip yesterday and they shared their thoughts of working on a house. They transformed it from just studs to having dry wall, making it feel like a home.
And then we had communion, the ultimate invitation to be transformed.
