First Sunday in Lent. Today’s theme was looking at temptation, starting way back in the Garden of Eden, but then knowing that we glory in the cross.

We were honored to have Shannon and Jeffrey Ambrister, the family of the next Habitat House that we will be working on at the end of March. They shared how excited they were and how appreciative they were that we were helping them with the sweat equity requirement. They shared some pictures of their house that is under construction.
During the last hymn, Ray invited everyone to pick up a cross created by the youth. We are to put the cross somewhere to remind us to glory in the cross. Crosses were also made for the front doors of the church. If you need to get one of the crosses made by the youth, please let us know.
