Ray modified the worship to lessen the risk of passing respiratory viruses. It was odd to not hug people or hold hands during prayers. And there was no passing of the peace.
Even with the changes, our church worship service carried on. We prayed for those who are sick and those who are anxious. We sang Happy Birthday to Harry, Edward and Robin S. The kids collected coins for Society of St Andrews.
Chandler got to go with the Conference Youth to Global Vision in Washington, DC. He shared his experiences on this trip.
Another modification was that the offering plates were not passed but people were invited to bring their tithes and offerings forward.
While we are being cautious to not spread illness, we know we serve the Mighty Physician who is control of it all.

Following Worship, the Evangelism and Nurture hosted Fellowship on the Lawn but we were in the Fellowship Hall because the breeze outside was a bit chilly. Snacks were served instead of each person serving themselves. Everything was tasty and it was good to share time with others.
