Lots of technical issues so that the streaming did not work. But the day was beautiful and it was a wonderful reason to worship together.
Thank you to all who donated roses for the altars. The proceeds go to the Methodist Retirement Homes. The altar area was also gifted with the cross that the youth painted several years ago, further pointing us to how all the pieces and colores go together to form a whole.
At Brown’s Chapel, Oliver gifted us with his saxophone, playing Just As I Am. Donna provided the music at Brown’s Chapel and Tommy played the piano at Pleasant Hill.
Ray did a Children’s sermon on the building blocks of being a family. He used a box of MegaBlocks to show that we connect together to form a family, either by blood or by faith.
After Worship, those who donated roses drove through the covered areas to get their roses to take home.
It was a fabulous day!!
