While the disciples were in the upper room after Jesus had ascended, a great wind blew through the room. It was the Holy Spirit coming over them to lead them, guide them and comfort them.
Today, in Drive In Worship, the wind blew over us. The sun was shining and the birds singing. The Holy Spirit was definitely with us. And having communion on this holy day of Pentecost was a highlight.
Praise God from whom all great blessings flow!!
A bag of potatoes was placed on the altar in recognition of the hard work done at Pleasant Hill to bag/box 2 tons of potatoes (yes, 4,000 lbs) that were donated to lots of places in Chatham County.
The altar was also decorated with a Pentecost banner donated to our churches by Lou.
The Communion elements were all packaged to prevent spread of infection. The wafer was on top and the plastic covering had the verse to do communion in remembrance of all that Jesus did for us.
