This is our 13th week of Drive In Worship. It was bittersweet today as this would have been Homecoming if the world was “normal”. We would have great worship and music in the cool Sanctuary followed by a huge feast. Yes, we missed Sybil’s lasagna and chocolate pie. We missed Ray’s chicken salad and home made rolls and all the succulent food.
But we feasted on God’s word in God’s world. It always amazes me the amount of wind and breeze that occurs during the prayer when we have drive in worship. Just God’s reminder that the Spirit is with us.
We had a special treat today in that Donna played the organ on the electric keyboard and Oliver played the piano on his electronic keyboard. They played Jesus Loves Me and it was wonderful.
Then Oliver played the offertory, How Great Thou Art.
A great day of music and a great day of worship.
