He has risen from the dead! What a wonderful day to celebrate the Risen Lord.
The church was full of worshippers (COVID precautions, of course). People brought flowers to decorate the truck from the Chrismon tree used during Advent. Then Matt carried it in to the Sanctuary.
We had wonderful music, including the choir who sang for the first time in 15 months.
We also shared Communion. Another step toward normalcy. We came forward, took the bread and dipped in the cup.
After worship we celebrated with gathering outside for the butterfly release. Kids and adults alike enjoyed seeing the butterflies fly away.
