Independence Day
With so much in the news that feels “anti-American” it was wonderful to see patriotism in our sanctuary and to know that we are free indeed because of what Jesus did on the cross for us.
(my apologies to those who realize that the flags are backwards. Next time, the American flag will be in the correct spot!)
Before Worship, Ray asked us to put our names on the countries where our ancestors came from and then after church to look to see what countries were represented by which families
We are also back to having Children’s time at the front of the church, signing the pew registration pads and passing the offering plates. Once Sunday School starts again, we will be back to “normal”
Neal shared about his trip with Carolina Cross Connection. We are thankful for his representing us with this worthwhile ministry.
