Each year the UMW recognizes people in the church who have been involved in mission. In 2019 we voted to give a pin to Linda who has been involved with the annual Brunswick stew since her mother first helped to start the event. Unfortunately the pin was not awarded that year and then in 2020 we didn’t do the stew because of COVID-19.
This year the pin was given to Linda at the stew, where she was still working. She said that she accepted it also in honor of her mom who gave so much to the stew.
