Dot Walker has been interested in art since childhood, but because of the demands of a family she got a late start. She loved to paint old barns, landscapes, birds, flowers, Southwest and Indian paintings. Her husband, Dave Walker, often photographed scenes and objects from their extensive travels. Her preferred medium was watercolor. Dot says painting is an “emotional experience”. It has a calming effect and gives her a real sense of being and value. She strives to give her paintings a realistic feel, thus her nickname, “The Realist Painter”.
Cash or checks payable to Brown’s Chapel United Methodist Church are accepted. We do not have the ability to accept credit cards.
