The weather was beautiful, which helped the celebration of the Risen Christ even better. We started with a 9a Meditation outside followed by a continental breakfast, which featured Ray’s famous homemade cinnamon rolls.
Then before worship, people brought flowers to decorate the cross, transforming it from an ugly creature to a thing of beauty. Just like what Christ does for us when we accept Him as savior.
During worship, the kids collected coins for the Society of St Andrew to help with transport of food.
Then at the end, outside, we release butterflies to remind us that we are all new creatures in Jesus.
