What shapes a child's faith the most? It might surprise you to learn that, in a typical month, children spend only about 1% of their time at church. By comparison, they spend nearly 18% of their time at school and almost 20% looking at TV and phone screens.
Those numbers aren't meant to diminish the importance of church. Instead, they remind us of something incredibly important: the biggest opportunities to nurture a child's faith happen in the ordinary moments of life.
That's why Youth Director Michelle Rash has created a weekly video series and monthly conversation cards designed to help parents feel more confident having simple, meaningful faith conversations with their children.
