THE WORSHIP SERVICES

The Music

We seek to exalt God through singing, mostly familuar songs from our hymn books, and we mix it up with familiar praise songs,  most of the time the words will be provided on the screen.  It is OK if you don't know the melody, the choir will lead and help to quide you along with the words.

The Message

We pray that the Word of God comes alive for you as you listen to solid and practical Bible preaching.

The Invitation

After the message, all are invited to pray. Some will come forward to pray at the altar while some pray in their seat.

Please feel welcome to come with any needs or questions you may have.

Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

SUNDAY WORSHIP @ 11AM

The Sunday worship service begins at 11:00 am with a warm welcome, inspiring music of our church choir, instrumentalists, soloists, and congregational music, and a message from God's Word. The music begins with a piano prelude, and the service is always followed by a clear and applicable Bible message. The entire service is a little over one hour in length. Of course, you are invited to  stay late to enjoy fellowship and coffee with friends. On special Sundays, we have a "pot luck" meal after the service in our fellowship hall.

Family Worship Room (Ages 2-PreK),

A Family Worship Room is availble each Sunday at 11:00 am located in the back of the Santuary, equipped with a speaker for adults to listen to the worship service while caring for the children.  We recently hired a youth director, Michelle Rash in June, and will be expanding our children and youth  ministries to include more ages.

Tuesday BIBLE Study @ 10AM

Interactive Bible study for adults occur each Tuesday at 10 am. The study is lead by pastor Bill where we learn powerful truths from the Bible that can be applied to everyday life, as we grow our faith in the word of God.
There is no dress code at Brown's Chapel UMC. We will be delighted to have you as our guest and are happy to receive you however you may be dressed. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more casual “Sunday attire". We promote the idea that church is where we meet and worship the Lord, so you will find here others dressed with this thought in mind.
No. We don't invite you to Brown's Chapel UMC for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a family of friends, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
